About the site:

Nancy Peckenham, a former CNN executive producer, documentary producer, and writer, created the site in July 2007 to provide a forum for local residents to discuss community developments. Peckenham updates the site daily with articles reporting on village government and infrastructure or development issues, as well as profiles of local residents and a twice weekly police blotter. A calendar of local events is also updated daily. Additional articles about local history and outdoor activities are contributed by residents, as well as articles written by middle schoolers who write for the Kids Speak section.
