About the site:

The Times is merging its print and online news operations, under a directive from publisher Arthur Sulzberger. Controversies that have embroiled the print newsroom, such as those over Judith Miller's reporting on alleged Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, have not affected the online operation, which has won widespread praise for innovative and engaging presentations. Len Apcar is the editor-in-chief of NYTimes.com, which won the 2005 Online Journalism Award for general excellence for large news sites.
